Terms of Service

Text Toaster (texttoaster.com) is operated by Rhystone Solutions, a sole proprietorship in Ontario, Canada ("we"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

The service

Text Toaster rewrites text you paste in so it reads more naturally, keeping your facts and layout. The rewriting is done by an AI model and checked by our software before you see it. Results can still contain mistakes: read them before you use them. We do not promise any score on any AI detector.

Your account

• You sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 18 years old.
• New accounts get 500 free words, once. One account per person.
• Keep your account to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with it.

Fair use

Don't use Text Toaster to:

• break the law, or rules you have agreed to, such as your school's or employer's policies on AI use;
• deceive or harm anyone, or submit work as your own where that is not allowed;
• overload, probe or copy the service, or resell it.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Plans and payment

• Paid plans renew monthly at the price shown when you subscribe, in US dollars, plus any tax.
• Payments are processed by Stripe through its Link service, which acts as the seller (merchant of record) and handles sales tax and receipts. Stripe's and Link's terms also apply to your purchase.
• Your plan's words reset each billing month. Unused words do not carry over.
• Moving to a bigger plan charges the difference for the rest of the month right away, and the bigger plan's words are yours once that payment goes through. Moving to a smaller plan starts at your next renewal.
• A text that could not be finished does not use any words.
• You can cancel anytime from "Manage plan"; you keep your words until the end of the month you paid for.

Your text

You keep all rights to the text you submit and the results. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service. See the Privacy Policy for how it is handled.

No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms or the service. If a change affects your paid plan we will tell you before it applies.
