Privacy Policy

Text Toaster is operated by Rhystone Solutions, a sole proprietorship in Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who processes it. We follow Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Your name, email address and account ID from Google, when you sign in.
- Your plan, how many words you have used, and your Stripe customer ID.
- Basic technical logs (time of a request, errors), used to keep the service running.
We never see your card number: payments happen on Stripe's checkout page.
The text you submit
Your text is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to be rewritten and checked, and the result is sent back to you. We do not keep your text: our working copy is deleted as soon as the result is ready. So that a dropped connection doesn't lose a result you have paid words for, we keep the finished result for up to one hour, readable only by your account, and delete it as soon as your page has it. Anthropic deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days and does not use them to train its models (content flagged by its safety systems may be kept longer, as its policies describe).
Who processes your data
- Google (Firebase and Google Cloud): sign-in, hosting, and our customer database.
- Anthropic: the AI model that rewrites your text, under Anthropic's commercial terms.
- Stripe (and its Link service): payments, as the seller of record for your subscription.
These providers may process data outside Canada, including in the United States.
Cookies
We only use what sign-in needs to keep you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your account details while your account exists. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at texttoaster@gmail.com; deleting your account removes your account record from our database. Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires.
Children
Text Toaster is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
